Parking
Parking at our hospital
The hospital has dedicated general public parking areas in Lorna Street and Platt Streets, Waratah. There is a minimal charge for parking at the hospital. You should ensure you have coins available for entry to all car parks.
Some areas and access roads in and around the hospital need to be kept free of unnecessary traffic. Your co-operation and that of your visitors is sought in observing these parking restrictions. It is especially important that entrances to the Emergency Department, the Clinical Services building (Platt Street) and the Hospice are not blocked.
Disabled Parking and Access
Allocated disabled parks are located in the hospital car parks and access is available through the automatic door entry in the emergency department. Please speak to our staff if you have concerns about parking or access. There are also set down areas located at the front of the Emergency Department, Clinical Services building and Hospice entrances.
Security
Hospital security guards patrol the grounds of the hospital on a regular basis, however, the hospital does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to cars or property and you are advised to take responsible security measures such as locking your car and concealing or removing valuables.
